I’ve decided on the content I’ll run in February during our month-long trip to Spain and France. It will focus on having a series of income streams in semi-retirement and how to tie these sources of cash flow to expenses.
At least three installments in the set will focus on investing. The rest on saving and income from some type of work, be it so-called passive income, a career/work transition or whatever you regularly do to make money.
In today’s article, we preview—with a healthy bit of detail—the investing areas. In part because, I’d love your input and experiences on the subject ahead of writing February’s posts.
Don’t look now, but February—and this trip—is less than two months away. As such, it’s a better time than ever to upgrade to a paid newsletter subscription.
Before we talk some investing, here’s what to expect in February—
7 posts from each of the seven cities we’re visiting (Barcelona, Girona, Montpelier, Lyon, Paris, Bordeaux and Toulouse) with urban and food photography, cost of living comparisons and general observations as they relate to Living The Semi-Retired Life.
10 excruciatingly detailed posts on investing, saving and work-related semi-retirement income streams. Because most of us need multiples.
I plan to take actual grocery shopping trips in the US and do hypothetical trips to buy equivalent items in Spain and France to highlight differences in cost of living.
We had a lot of great content from Spain and Italy this past February. And we hope to do even better in less than two months!
This post — How To Afford Travel — was among the most popular.
