24 days until we move to Spain

When we move—in just 24 days!!—we don’t intend to be digital nomads. However, we do hope to travel a fair bit and spend meaningful amounts of time in other countries. Ultimately, our intention is to live in Spain, rather than use a Spanish residency authorization to be able to travel. There’s something important to us about setting up shop in Spain.

And—really—the country is so large and diverse that you likely can’t see it all in a lifetime, let alone several decades. This said, we intend to travel a fair bit and—hopefully—stay for extended periods in some of our favorite places. At the top of that list right now are Rome, which we covered the other day, and Paris, which we hit today.

Quick thing: This format, if you will, of here’s what we did today, how we did it and how much it cost is one I plan to use as we set up and start doing life in Spain. While there will be food and drink, I will use it to cover all the elements of living the day-to-day in a place so you can see what it’s really like on the ground and use our experience to help inform your own.
