After a decade working on-the-air in talk radio, I spent seven years studying urban planning, policy, & design. During this time, I published two peer-reviewed academic articles. I went on to work in full-time and freelance capacities in financial media. For more than 12 years, I have worked as a freelance writer and editor covering a wide variety of spaces.

While an editor at financial media platform Seeking Alpha, I conceived the Seeking Alpha Author Experience where I coached and guided writers at the individual and group level.
In 2016, I decided to investigate two passions - the social life of bars and craft cocktail bartending. I work at a major craft cocktail bar on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. I write about hospitality as a contributor for Chilled Magazine.
